Justice for Pro Se Litigants

The path to due process in our courts is littered with obstacles for pro se litigants, who must overcome lack of knowledge of civil procedure. They must get beyond fear of losing homes, child custody, livelihoods, and other valuable things. They endure judicial bias and must survive lawyer bullying before they can experience some modicum of justice. The typical pro se litigant has only one case and must learn the legal system as they go. Here are a few examples of things to be aware of along the way.
